We are fortunate to have the opportunity to help a lot of brands engage their consumers with Street Teams. While every Street Team program is different, they all generally have the same goals and objectives. So, getting right to the point, Street Teams help generate trial, buzz and awareness for your brand; they generate energy; they help get the word out; and, Street Teams are nimble and can be used to hit specific markets.
So how should you use them?
- New Product Promotion– Do you have a new drink that has never been tasted? Or a new product that has never been seen. Street teams can take your product to the consumer and allow them to see, taste, smell, feel and experience it firsthand. Street teams can bring momentum to your initial sales efforts. By letting your consumers experience your product before they buy takes out the risk for them and they are more likely to remember it in stores and put it in their cart.
- Events– Whether it’s a concert, festival, or any other event that gathers a crowd, this is the perfect opportunity to spread your message. By utilizing the crowds that are gathering for an event you can gain excitement for your brand by putting your street teams to action. You can also target a crowd easier with events based on the type of music or type of event.
- Grand Openings – If you are opening a new store street teams can help in your pre-promotion marketing efforts. Get people out there to talk in your community and let them know about your opening. Working with trained Brand Ambassadors to generate excitement and energy can make all the difference!
Street Teams can be the perfect tool in your marketing toolbox and you can ramp them up really quickly, if necessary. So, if you are looking for a way to engage your consumers in a face to face environment, Street Teams could be just the way to build your brand.
