Pro Motion’s 2018 Marketing Goals

photo 1485367255444 d62afe0567abWe’re all familiar with lifestyle resolutions when the clock strikes midnight on January 1st. But where did the idea of a New Year’s Resolution come from? About 4,000 years ago, the ancient Babylonians are said to have made the first New Year’s resolutions. They would hold celebrations when their crops were planted for a prosperous year. The Babylonians made promises to the gods to pay their debts and if they kept their word, the gods would bestow favor on them for the year. Whether you’re looking for good karma like the Babylonians or just a fresh start to the year, New Year’s resolutions can help jumpstart your goals. Here at Pro Motion, we are goal oriented and we reach our goals.  We asked some of our team members about their goals for 2018. Here’s what they said…
My goal next year is to learn something new in experiential marketing and learn more about the brands we support. Every day there are new trends, technology, and data that help us better serve our clients and grow their brands. I want to learn something new that I can then teach my co-workers and clients!
Margaret

I want to continue to grow client relationships by providing thought leadership, support, and new ideas from the Pro Motion team.  I want to maintain my ‘Trusted Advisor’ role with all new and current clients.
Cathi

My goal is to manage my time better. There are a lot of projects going on at any given point, and I think I can do a better job of organizing my priorities and focusing on one thing at a time.
Brian

My goal for 2018 is to become fluent in Spanish. I took 4 years of Spanish in high school, but want to brush up on the language, as I believe it would be beneficial in connecting with people in a variety of markets.
Courtney

I want to explore more, simplify my life with less things, and  have more experiences.  This I believe will also help me better support my PMI team and our clients.
Becky

My goals for 2018 are to learn more about how a mobile marketing tour is developed and take on more responsibilities for the tours. Also, like Margaret, I want to learn more about what’s new in the experiential marketing world and put it to use with what we are doing at Pro Motion.
Cassie

I want to continue to find ways to create programs for our clients that drives tangible ROI and makes them a rock star at their company.  I want to make sure we find the best touring teams and continue to train them deeper than what our industry accepts as normal.  I want to continue to challenge my management team to continue the momentum we currently have and keep learning and providing the best customer service in our industry.  And finally, I want to continue to have fun in this crazy industry.  2018 will be my 25th year in the agency business and this industry can wear on you.  I still love what I do and I appreciate the hard work of my team to make sure our clients are happy with our work and our relationship.  I know we are only as good as the last event we activated, so we are hands on and focused on delivering what we say we can do.  Let’s make it happen again in 2018!
